Review on πŸ“¦ My Weigh 15lb Postal and Shipping Scale with Accessories for Mail and Postage by Rob Dixon

Some very good qualities, some not so good behaviors

We've had a few of those. Some very good qualities, some not so good behaviors. There were problems with the displays. The numbers are no longer legible. A nice feature is the "lifetime" (30 years) guarantee. The problem is that you need to keep the warranty card that came with the scale, as well as the original receipt. They can easily be lost if someone hasn't been warned to keep them available. The first scale we owned lasted several years before failing. Others lasted varying lengths of time, some just a few months. If it weren't for the short lifespan I would give this scale five stars. But if one is willing to ignore the problem of returning faulty scales and not do so for a while, then the scale is "almost fault-free". I really like the range and resolution of the measurements - an accuracy of 1 gram or 0.05 ounces. The 7kg / 15+ lb scale covers almost every need except weighing suitcases for air travel. Worked great for that. Turn-on times are a little slow, but not unacceptable. In short, we liked the scale so much that we recommended it and gave it away (we are considering it). And since it was a gift, if received early and used, we don't know how it worked.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some difficulties
