Review on Hethya Automatic Brooding Controller for Incubation by Richard Payne

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They EMBROIDERED it worked. Ideal for beginners

Works. I wasn't expecting this to work as this is a generic incubator and not a well known brand. So I found it sketchy and wasn't sure because it didn't have any reviews (at the time of purchase). But I decided to take a risk and bought it because it was pretty cheap compared to other famous brands incubators. And this is my first time owning and hatching chickens. I raised Bentham chickens. And I put 12 eggs in the incubator, I didn't expect a good hatch rate because this is my first time. But so far 7 hatched, but unfortunately two hatched. And 1 egg never developed. I'll wait and see how many more hatch (I'm so excited). I also have a hygrometer to check humidity, which is handy for only $5. I added water from the bottle that came with it every two to three days. Enough water to drip down the sides because there is enough water. And I sprayed twice a day, every day. The instructions will tell you what temperature to store the hatched birds at. If not, you can find it online. For my bantams, I left the temperature at 100 degrees Fahrenheit because the eggs are smaller. This incubator works the same as brand name incubators because my grandma has experience with chickens and told me that for the price the incubator is out of the ordinary. Also a tip, you should personalize your chicken. Installation of an incubator and feeders around day 20 for chicks. I will definitely keep breeding chickens. This incubator was a great investment as it was cheap and worked just as well as other incubators, if not better. I liked the light in the incubator to see the development of the chicks. You can also look up how to set up a Revain incubator on YouTube and you should find one that looks exactly like this one and it is explained there and you should definitely read the manual. At the time of purchase, an incubator was $30, which was definitely worth it. I also left the styrofoam on the bottom of the incubator because it helps with insulation. there.

Pros
  • General purpose incubators
Cons
  • Requires power outlet
