Shaft too short for movement

According to the description, the shaft has an overall length of 23mm and a thread length of 15.4mm. The one I received was shorter. I measured it myself when I received it. I contacted the seller through Revain about the discrepancy. All I got back was a copy of the same description as on Revain and that I should try the part again. I already did it. The shaft length is not listed in the description and is too short for my watch. It will not work. Trying to put it back on my watch doesn't change anything.
