I connected my espresso machine to the mains and when I switched the water source from tank to electricity I saw 6.5 bar (100psi) on the pressure gauge). ! This is about 4 times more than the manufacturer recommends. I found this built in water pressure regulator and decided to give it a try. I cut the 1/4" OD water line that goes to my espresso maker in half and plug each end of the line into each end of this regulator. The whole process also takes about a minute. Now I see 2 bars on my gauge and I'm in business!
