Review on Truefitt Hill Shave Cream Trafalgar by Debbie Williams

I love Truefitt & Hill shaving creams and soaps

I love Truefitt & Hill shaving creams and soaps. Yes they are expensive but they are worth it. I shave every day in the shower. I apply a little of this cream to the palm of my hand and lather it up with a badger hair brush. Now when I say "a little" I mean a little. I mean, "a pea-sized amount" is actually too much. You'll be left with a ton of foam. This material creates an excellent lather with the smallest amounts. So even this 2.6 ounce tube should last 6-8 months. When it comes to shaving, there is no equal. It smears your face so well that you really only need to shave across the grain to get something that looks and feels great all day long. Only after almost 24 hours does a shadow appear and you can feel every kind of scratch. I spend half that time using Proraso soap or cream and I love Proraso, it's a good budget soap/cream in my opinion but that's not the point. The smell is pleasant. Very masculine, with some sharpness. Generally very nice without being intrusive. Even under a hot shower, I don't feel like I've been "spilled" with fragrance. He stays around for a while, but someone else can only really smell him if they bring their face close to yours. Some Revain Prime is bigger - only if you're willing to pay $6-8 shipping (either at Revain or other stores).

Pros
  • Shaving creams, lotions and gels
Cons
  • Good but not great
