I bought this WD My Passport external hard drive enclosure along with two USB cables. Revain suggested this product when I bought the disc, I bought it a few days later based on their feedback. My conclusions: * Sturdy little body with a tough outer shell. You can pinch the case and neither feel the contents nor leave a noticeable dent. * Excellent padding in the compartment where you store the disc. Raised tabs on both the case bezel and the flap separating the drive bay from the mesh pocket/cable section. These protrusions are covered with a very soft fabric that will not leave any marks on the contents. Case wiggles when closed, no movement inside (with a note I mention in the cons section below) * Mesh compartment has good depth to tuck thick or multiple cables * Storage pocket/sleeves available on the flap, simply sewn but I don't have any particular use/plans for them* The zippers are smooth and appear to be strong enough, time will tell. I like the double zipper so you can open/close it in either direction* Carry handles: 2 of them. Since I am using this hard drive case, I do NOT intend to use the carrying straps that come with it. One of them is a silver buckle in line with a zipper. The case comes with a strap/clip that you can attach to it. The second is the hard plastic attachment point on the case body (see photo with 3 images). It feels solid but I don't care about the attachment point and I'll shoot. It's attached with a plastic rivet that goes through the body and into the section where the drive is stored. There is a felt cover that hides the attachment point (see top photo of insert) and if you lift it you can see that it is attached (bottom photo of insert). I will break the rivet, seal the hole with a black insert to protect it from dirt/dust. This is just my personal preference, others may need an attachment point. The only downside to this case: * Internal dimensions: As mentioned, Revain offered this case as an add-on when I bought a WD Passport drive. The case is a bit oversized for this particular drive, meaning it can slide from side to side even when closed. There is a gap along the length and there is a fairly tight fit from top to bottom. Easy enough to solve by adding a small foam insert, but I found it worth mentioning for WD Passport users. I've included two photos with a ruler so you can see the exact inside measurements: approximately 4 1/4 (or 4 1/2 if the sides are slanted) by 3 inches (or 3 1/4 if the sides are slanted). ). I am very happy with this bag and if the zippers stand up to repeated use/wear and tear they should provide years of protection.
