I changed my computer case and couldn't get my HP Laserjet5P to print. I downloaded this and that, played around with it, and nothing worked. Someone mentioned the Gear Head High Speed Parallel USB Adapter so it cost a few bucks and was worth a try. This was the answer to my problem, my printer has been restored and I can get a copy. Good product!
