Review on Enhanced Motorcraft YH1716 Blower Motor Resistor for Optimal Performance by George Johnson

Matches my 2002 Conductor. Came sealed in a bag of Ford Motorcraft parts. The fan worked only at low and high frequencies. This fan motor speed resistor has been replaced and now works with all settings. The resistor on my truck was under the glove box which was attached to the fan housing. I didn't have to remove anything to get to it, but getting to the two screws was tricky. I used a 1/4" ratchet with a 5/16 socket for the top bolt and a ratchet for the bottom bolt (the bolt is partially blocked by the 4WD controller, little play). The box says "YH-1716 " "4L2Z- 19A706-AA". This part replaces "2L2H-19A706-AA".
