Beautiful as a pillow! I love dogs and I love this pillowcase! The top is a colorful pale lime green (a very muted and neutral look) while the base features bolder shades of brown, coral and apricot. The big red dog (so cute) is a pretty true red color with darker highlights. The left side is a woven linen (light beige) panel. Zipper at bottom inseam. One reviewer said the fabric feels like paper (in a negative context) and I can understand her description, but the label says it's 45% cotton/55% linen. Wash in cold water / air dry. The pillowcase comes folded and will keep its shape (without padding) and measures 18" x 18". I bought 5 different designs of this style. Some finishes are more rigorous than others, but at a cost. I'm not complaining. They match my kitchen table chairs for back support and don't carry much. I love these fun cute smiley face pillowcases for the mood I'm in right now. At their low prices, I won't shy away if I decide to indulge in another chapter of my life. I find the fabric soft to the touch but the finish is harsh.
