Picked up this and ashtray to try out two of the cheapest bike lights. I like this one less - about 30%. The taillight is nicer too. The attachment mechanism is also MUCH better. Really, no rubber you just can't tighten (but you can get rubber too). However, the front line beam is too focused and dimmer (and the LED is slightly smaller). There's also 0% light on the sides (for safety reasons), and Usher has very little (still not very good). However, the ashtray gets hotter and I don't know how that would work with the battery directly behind the LED. All in all, your choice is to save $2 and get a brighter light than get a smaller light with a better mount. .
