DO NOT BUY! DEFECTIVE MANUFACTUING! IT WILL SUDDENLY BREAK INJURING THE PERSON ON THE SWING!

We purchased this in July and installed it in August. Our daughter loves her swing and since the item got good reviews and it had a weight limit of 400 pounds, we ordered it and a few others and found this one to be the sturdiest. Well, on Saturday, the metal clip that holds the ropes together on one side snapped and my daughter went flying and fell on her bottom and got a very bad rope burn on her arm. Just appalling that this could happen. We are so lucky that the grass saved her from getting more seriously injured. DO NOT BUY THIS! IT IS A HUGE ACCIDENT JUST WAITING TO HAPPEN.

The seat set is very sturdy and very easy to install and adjust. However, the seat is too small for adults. The typical length for an adult swing seat is 20 to 24 inches. This one is just under 17 inches.
