Review on πŸ“ Brifit Mini Digital Milligram Scale, 50g Portable Pocket Scale, 0.001g Precision, Professional Mini Scale with Calibration Weights Tweezers, Batteries Included by Nick Narvasa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Accurate and reproducible measurements but still great value with an error of 1-2 mg.

Accurate milligram scales cost thousands but this $15 scale is great for the price. I have a new penny that has a known weight of 2,500 grams, and this scale consistently reads 2,496. Such high accuracy for $15. One issue is that the scale comes with a 50g test weight, which isn't entirely accurate. So when you calibrate the scale, it is not perfectly calibrated. Like all digital scales, it reads best when leveled, kept at a constant temperature, and left on for a few minutes, but overall it's not fussy or dependent on light or power sources. 0.01 grains so I know my weights are accurate to within 0.1 grains which is my goal. Then, compared to my reference penny at 2,500 grams, which equals 38,581 grains, I'm sure the scales aren't drifting. money well spent.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
