I ordered what I thought was an Intel i9 10900K, oh my god I was wrong. The first thing I noticed was that the label was missing and the sticky residue stayed where it should have been. Okay, I thought that was weird and honestly should have returned it right away, but I pulled myself together. As soon as I opened the box, I found that my initial fear had come true: protrusions where a standard LGA1200 connector didn't align properly with the motherboard. OH! Some MADLADs really did what I thought they would. The last owner (hell, maybe even a warehouse?) replaced his previously owned CPU, colored the CPU to look like a 10900k and put it in the box I now own and bought. I had never encountered anything this hideous on Revain before, and I was fully aware of the stories. Anyway I immediately sent it back and figured I should take advantage of this newfound information on this product and let the rest know. Always remember that you are taking a risk with high-end electronics on this platform. For your health!
