So yes, this fan is well made and moves a decent amount of air. I wanted a fan to circulate air around my router, fiber optic modem, NAS enclosure, etc. because even though everything is on the shelf, the lack of airflow causes everything to just go out. Now everything is much cooler, so the fan does its job. My only complaint (which has a fix) is that air movement inherently creates noise. When things are really quiet, you can definitely notice the faint hum of the running fan, and the amount of air it moves is over the top. Then the solution is the potentiometer kit they sell. It's also very high quality and appears to have four settings (off, low, medium and high) but is actually a continuously adjustable potentiometer from off to full power. I think it would be great to offer a "bundle" with a controller and a fan at a discount. It's a bit like buying a $15 fan and then going back and spending $13 to keep the fan from being fully tilted all the time.
