After getting new Yokohama C. Drive 2 tires in the same size (185/60/14), I felt as though I had switched to a different vehicle. The initial reactions indicate that Conti is significantly more subdued and gentler than other alternatives. Irregularities can be navigated through with ease, and some of the smaller holes and joints have become completely undetectable. Unconcerned with the deep ruts in the road, it remarkably well maintains its course. On a wet road, the most intriguing thing is that there is no discomfort because the road drains water perfectly, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning. In general, there is a minor reduction in the information content of the steering wheel; however, I do not find this to be in the least bit problematic, and I find that for the sake of such comfort, it is very appropriate for my vehicle. I am overjoyed that I decided to go with this rubber, and I have high hopes that it will hold up for a very long time.
