I am an experienced hairstylist and very picky when it comes to hair accessories. Conventional hair ties damage hair and frankly give me a headache because they are too tight. Most fabric hair ties don't have the elasticity to hold a ponytail tight enough so that it doesn't fall out during normal activities. I was concerned because it says it will hold on to thick hair, so I expected it to be a little loose for my sad, thin hair (for reference, I can double-tie tiny hair ties around my hair). I wrap it three times and it holds up but still has a nice lining. Hard training - hair stays tied. And the best part is that they retain their elasticity well. Much better than any fabric scrunchie I've used. Incredible value. I'm tempted to buy more as a backup in case I can't find them in the future.
