We are a small subsidiary of Habitat for Humanity that builds our own trusses and roof. We needed personal fall protection and loved the idea of a retractable lanyard. Our roof is only 5 slopes We were concerned that the 11' would be enough for the job so we used it in combination with a non-padded hand rope handle on a 25' rope Most of the time we only use 5-10' of rope This gave us the freedom to work while also being very comfortable at the edge.We have used them on the same roof with two slings. We were so pleased we ordered 2 more for our next home due to the number of people on the roof to increase.
