I am somewhat indifferent to this product. I like the idea, the design and the quality, but I'm not a big fan of the high price. I would love to order a second set to match the first but I just can't bring myself to buy it at this price. For starters, the item arrived EXACTLY as described on the website, so read the details carefully before purchasing. This article is a do-it-yourself project that turned out to be extremely fun. especially with no instructions on how to build it or how many pieces to have/should have. So I went a little further with the photos and tried to tag as best I could to explain how to assemble a wooden tiered box with drawers. Again, figuring out how to assemble the set wasn't difficult, but I can see some might be frustrated. The pieces are made from thin wood and are already shaped and sized for assembly. Connectors are small rubber bands used on the ends of pins to hold pieces of wood together and in place. They are very stretchy, so if you overstretch you can send one of them across the room. The rubber bands hold up well and I haven't had any problems. Although he may appear fragile, he is quite strong! Dividers contained in the drawers can be combined as desired. I ended up removing some of the dividers to accommodate more products in the style I wanted. I have yet to paint mine, but I look forward to doing so in the future. I actually like the wood accent to match my desk, but I might change my mind later. The great thing about this product is how easy it is to disassemble and reassemble for transport. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. This is a very nice addition that offers a clean look and top-level organization. I used this as a means to organize my nail polish and nail polish supplies. The construction is strong enough to hold anything without putting pressure on the wood.
