So we looked for a solution that would not harm anyone or the animals. We stumbled across this device from a seller we have previously purchased from. decided to try it. I've never used a sonic device to get away from animals before I was skeptical. While waiting for this machine to arrive, our washing machine broke. an epic puddle in the toilet so I ordered a new one out the back door with that machine and did a spring cleaning around the dryer, later that night I figured our cats were back in there fooling around. went deep to chase them away, and then three baby possums climbed through a flexible hose up the dryer vent into the dryer and sniffed around the bucket of cat food. What does that have to do with this device? Well since we installed it we haven't seen a single squirrel when we've been saying goodbye to them all day and hopefully we won't see any of those possums. yes we know check the vent in the wall yes the cover keeping the critters inside was damaged in the last storm a garden tool fell on it and removed the cover. We've fixed that and still hope those possums don't get in the way. This device, using the biphasic option, repels squirrels and we saw quite a few possums before hooking it up. I can't say I've seen her since. it works. and I'm glad I made a good purchase so my wife and kids aren't dancing in the dining room ;) 100 percent happy and will be the seller's window next time I'm looking for a product outside of the main Amazon line check over .
