DO NOT buy this if you are trying to connect to a 4" or 5" central dust collection system. I used the necessary transitions to feed it into my system on the drill press, but it doesn't soak up anything. I spoke to someone at the manufacturer's office and was told that my particular situation would not be a problem, but it just doesn't work and between adapters and this component I spent a lot of money to get zero results. The hose components are also VERY DIFFICULT to connect together. The videos make it seem easy, but it definitely isn't! Very good flexibility to design the hose to your liking, but what if it doesn't suck in enough air?
