I had this set for 20 years before it became too tight when squeezed and the spring deformed. Hopefully this replacement kit will last another 20 years! Note. Do not use regular sea salt as it is too wet and will attack the mechanism. (I discovered this the hard way with my first set. The seller explained it and replaced it for free.) Use very coarse salt. Almost the size of a peppercorn.
