I have used them on my recent flights to and from Europe. Flight over 9 hours. The last time I flew on this flight, my feet and ankles were so swollen that I found it difficult to walk. So I knew I had to try some kind of compression stocking. I did a lot of research and chose this mainly because I have large 17 inch calves. I bought a large because of the calf circumference, although my feet are size 8, I was more worried about my feet. The length of the feet is too long, which is what I expected, but it did not interfere with walking and did not cause any discomfort. On both flights my feet and ankles swelled only slightly and it was barely noticeable and didn't hurt at all. These socks are great and have helped me a lot on my journey. I received the pink and the color is exactly like the picture. I washed them in cold water but due to lack of travel time I couldn't wait for them to air dry, so I put them in the dryer too. The white part of the sock turned a little pink but I don't think that they came in at all.
