Review on πŸ’‘ Westinghouse #66402 5 1/4" Wall Bracket/Outlet: Efficient Solution for Your Electrical Installation by Sean Spence

Permanent light/socket combination

My mother has an old house where the number of sockets is limited, so she has such lamps in her bedrooms. They also come in handy when you just want to plug something in for a few minutes. I bought this to replace an old one so I can reuse the screw holes with slightly larger screws. These lights are easy to install but on a scale of 1 to 5 the ease was a 3 because it was difficult to cram all the wiring to keep the light flush with the wall. I ended up dropping the ground wire nut and attaching both directly to the ground screw (the ground wire didn't go into the wall). I also found it odd that the crossbar had to be in a nearly vertical position rather than a horizontal position due to the location of the two mounting holes in the bracket. The light works perfectly. As for the socket, inserting and removing the plug requires some force, but it's likely to loosen up after a bit of use. One thing that would be nice is the ability to have an outlet on the right side. In this case it would be better, although it is not so important.
