There is nothing wrong with the product. It just didn't work for me.
I thought the disc was flat enough to glue a larger cabochon onto it, but it has an edge so your gemstone or cabochon needs to fit snugly in order to work well. I had to send them back. Also, I've changed my mind about using stainless steel. Nothing wrong with ss but if I wanted to buy earrings I probably wouldn't choose them as I'm not allergic.
