I have a small Brother sewing machine with a low shank. Mine came with a darning foot that could be used for FMQ, but I ordered this specific foot because I wanted to try rulers with my DSM. It looks like I can't adjust the sewing foot pressure and once it's added I can ONLY move my fabric while trying to FMQ! Talk about pressure. I'm not sure if it's the design of the foot or my machine. I'm not happy I can't use this leg, but I'm not sending it back. All I can say is that the item is well made.
