After measuring the puppy I ordered size XS. I don't think it grew fast enough in the 1 week before the rain that it would be short. I understand he's growing, but I've done what should give him room to grow. The dimensions listed for the XS are what it measured last night. It won't do any good, so I'll have to send it back. This is a cute raincoat, but order a size or two up. Good that the hood is detachable.
