Review on Sattiyrch Christmas Luxury Knitted Decoration by Erik Gerber

I've been looking for a tree skirt for years and never bought one (just wrapped some fabric around the base) because most of them are just too busy or crappy to taste. I live in a turn of the century house and my tree reflects that somewhat, with lost handcrafted jewelry and mercury glass. So I wanted a skirt that complemented her without the stupid appliqués. It fits the bill perfectly and just looks good. I was expecting a lighter red but I'm very happy with the deeper tone. It all has a timeless look that could easily have come from a pottery shed yesterday or from a talented housewife 100 years ago, which is exactly what I want. My only complaint is that I've read that the skirt is HUGE and some people have had to roll it up. high. In truth, the size is just great, but I wouldn't say it's overly generous. Bottom line is I love it and feel like it really complements my tree :-)
