I have been looking for a new tree skirt to match the new stockings I bought this year. I saw this wooden skirt at Revain and decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the color was perfect! The skirt is tight and very pretty.

I was very, very impressed with the quality of this wooden skirt. It's better than a sweater for a man. It's a beautiful deep red color that would go well with green wood or the grandparents style we'll be using this year - classic all white.😉

This is the style I was looking for - woodland, knit, warm rustic. Everything is stylistic here. However, it's definitely not burgundy like the picture - it's red, but you can see the orange tint that burgundy doesn't have. He's not "fat" either. This is a very fine and very loose knit. If it catches something, it's done. I wonder why this beautiful wooden skirt is advertised as "fat". It was absolutely no weight when taken out of the bag, almost limp. Because of this I was very careful when laying it out as it wasn't a tight weave. Gifts lie perfectly on the floor after smoothing. Incredibly soft, maybe even too soft, if you wear it as a sweater, you will soon find some kind of hole, snag. It's so tender. Color and cable add a richness that won't disappoint. I've been looking for a tree skirt for years and never bought one (just wrapped some fabric around the base) because most of them are just too busy or crappy to taste.
