This is the first time I am writing a review on a product because it deserves all the praise. Hello Boldplex! I went to the salon (I had almost black hair) for a DELICATE highlight on all the ends of my hair. I went with the disaster visible in the top left image of the attached photo, a damaged and broken mess of light almost reaching my head. I have 2a-2b wavy/curly hair and have NEVER had so much damage that it doesn't even frizz. See the attached photos/below for a before/after and timeline of the BoldPlex wonders. Photo above left: after doing my usual post salon disaster styling routine for my curly hair (before every BoldPlex). I was devastated. The damage was so bad it didn't even curl/curl, just a plump disaster. I was about to cut it into a pixie before doing the first BoldPlex treatment, resulting in the photo above right. Above right: after the first BoldPlex treatment. I used a BUCK, whipped it, let it marinate overnight, and after rinsing/styling the next day it got a little wavy again. Maybe hope was not lost! I let my hair rest for two days and only did a co-wash with conditioner in between. Below: after the second BoldPlex treatment! This time I left it on for 3-4 hours and then applied a deep conditioning mask which I left overnight and BOOM that's a FUN improvement over the first photo, it actually frizzes and pills! And in the shower, I no longer feel the "spiky" ends sticking out due to breakage, so I actually straighten and restore them! GOT IT. DO IT NOW. CHANGE YOUR LIFE. THANK YOU BOLDPLEX! PS I have used Olaplex before but have never seen such a drastic improvement as with BoldPlex. Plus, with BoldPlex, you get DOUBLE the product for the same price (Olaplex 3.3 oz vs. BoldPlex 6.7 oz)
