Review on La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying 🧼 Foaming Gel Cleanser: Perfect for Oily Skin! by Pin Chun Lin ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the product fully corresponds to the description.

Since I was a child, I have had very oily and easily clogged skin. Mechanical cleaning is an effective method for removing the black specks that appear exclusively on the wings of the nose. And I'm always seeking for a nice cleanser that works effectively, doesn't dry out my skin, and supposedly minimizes the appearance of pores while I'm at it (myth?). I caved in to the pressure of the reviews on the LRP, but I'm not upset about it. The gel has a liquid consistency, is easy to work with, can be drying to the skin if used excessively, performs adequately as a cleanser, but does not leave the skin feeling "to a squeak" - this is a benefit for me. But what really amazed me was that even though my skin was still moist from the washing process, it was able to give all of the dirty tricks from the pores with just a small bit of pressure, and everything was cleansed flawlessly. It has become an essential cleanser to use before applying cleansing masks and films. Everything is perfectly cleaned, and the pores have been opened up. Because I use it multiple times per week, even in the winter there isn't the normal excruciating feeling of tightness. The only drawback is that it flies at a very high speed. But, considering how much the bottle costs, this shouldn't be a concern at all. Completely happy and eager to refer!

Pros
  • It does a good job of cleansing, exfoliating, and opening the pores.
Cons
  • Uneconomical.
