Great smart downlight. Just connect to the 2.4GHz band on a multi-band router. He was able to choose the right range (only from version 2.4) without the time-consuming setup of an existing home network. The Alexa integration on this device is great, but Alexa struggles to get most of the lighting down to the really "warm" 2500K setting. The option in the Alexa app or by voice command always comes out a little closer to 4500k. The smart bulb can reach its warmest setting, and if you leave it at that setting, Alexa will turn it on at that level. But if you adjust the colors for any reason, you'll have to go back to the Geeni app to go back to the warmest white setting. I love that I set up each bulb individually and then add them to a group in Alexa. Appendix. I can turn on the voice command individually or for the whole group. Always plan smart device and group naming ahead of time so you don't confuse Alexa later.
