I ordered a size 3/1 Big Sur 38 belt and received it today as scheduled. I almost didn't buy it because of the non 5 star reviews but I'm very glad I bought it. I won't talk much about looks because everyone has different tastes. All I'm saying is that the blues and browns are quite noticeable, but not too noticeable for an office environment. Instead, I focus on fit and craftsmanship. I tried the belt on with a pair of size 36 khakis. It fits exactly! The belt was comfortable around my waist, it held my pants where they should be and I had a hole left in case I wanted the belt a bit tighter. The belt was 1.25 inches long so it went perfectly through pant loops. The end of the belt was cut straight and the seams all around were flawless. The buckle was rustic, not rusty. It complemented the rest of the belt. it smelled, felt and looked like real leather. I have to say I have no plans to wear this belt with jeans as I don't want the denim to slowly eat away at the blue and brown yarn (maybe not a legitimate concern but loved the belt I want to keep the finish) My compliments to the one who sewed my belt! I'll wear it to work tomorrow. Many Thanks.
