I ordered this belt in my regular size and it has just finished the first hole for attachment. That could have been fine, but it made the pattern off-center. Came back and ordered a size up. Ideal! Leather is the same as in 70's jeans - thick, uniform, one piece, no seams, just one big, thick piece of leather that should last forever. Thick enough to wear. I don't expect any deformation on the back belt loops. It's not as wide as the '70s belt (1 1/2 inches vs. 2 inches). Waxed thread decoration certainly appears to be very durable, but time will tell. Belts can be difficult to buy, especially online. Revain has a great log size to use past purchases to suggest the right size. This belt is a large spruce. The workmanship is first class, as is the quality of the materials. I wear a belt with jeans, khakis, and slacks, and the belt goes perfectly with all of them. The belt looks a bit gaudy in the photo, but it's not. I recommend this belt to any man looking for one. A belt with a little panache, but not too much.

Bought the red/white/blue version for my 16 year old son. We both liked this ribbon but it was sticky like glue had seeped through the thread, maybe it was in a hot warehouse somewhere before shipping? Shame as the strap was reasonably priced and good quality, just sticky which we couldn't get rid of when trying it.

Sturdy belt and fits true to size. For size 40 I fasten at the first slit. A little disappointed with the color. The description says black/brown/beige. But this "beige" is actually a pretty bright yellow. It's ok, but not what I expected.
