I noticed on delivery. The box I received was badly taped so I'm assuming it was a return. Upon opening, I noticed scratches on the stand and the plastic packaging was opened, confirming my initial suspicions. Very disappointing after being so expensive. The stand works well, should be on a rubber mat if you intend to use it on concrete to avoid slipping. Several people commented on this on the track. It's also very nice when you're tired after a race. Does not work on slippery surfaces, a rubber mat is needed. Just buy a $10 rubber yoga mat, not $50 racing mats, which is basically the same thing. Still disappointed they sent me a returned product but mine is still dirty and already in use which is probably what they intended. Overall a bit pricey but worth it for me!
