I got this to add some decorative lighting to one of my rooms and it does an amazing job. I like that I can change the color with the remote control. I like to use gradient colors, which are a mix of two colors at once. You can also use spot colors. The closer you place this lamp to the wall, the brighter and more intense the light will be. So if you want something more intense, just place it closer to the area you want to illuminate. The remote control does not provide options to select lighting effects. This is a great light for those who want to add a cool impact to a room. The only downside is that you need a USB to wall outlet adapter to get power.
