This is a great product and a perfect replacement for anyone who needs it. My XBox One, Day One adapter stopped working so I went with this one. It made me jump back into the game as soon as it showed up on my doorstep! To be honest I don't know what to say about sleep mode. I hear it all day. It doesn't get louder or hotter while playing. Although the noise level is a bit higher than I would like, I am still very happy with my purchase and would recommend it. If your XBox is in an entertainment center, you probably won't hear the fan. Mine was moved to a smaller bedroom. So it's a bit annoying when I want to go to bed.
