Review on BARSKA Blackhawk Waterproof Monocular - Ultimate Optical Solution for Outdoor Enthusiasts by Laura Thomas

I live in the country, hunt, hike and shoot at range. I was looking for something similar, comfortable to wear and with a decent look. I've just been outside with it and my first impressions are positive. Has a large field of view, is easy to focus and feels good in the hand. I'm a little taller than I expected but that's ok. I was able to focus on a beer can about 25 yards away that I was using as a shotgun target and I could see the individual holes I'd shot in the can. I was able to locate and closely examine a small bird about 100 yards away. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is that (as others have said) it's a little hard to hold steady, especially when aiming at something from a distance, and it doesn't have strings, to be able to attach tripod to it. If so, it would be almost perfect. However, I'm glad I bought it and it will find many uses.
