The quality you've come to expect from Hobo! Soft, supple leather, nice cotton inside. The black is more of a brown/black though, which was a nice bonus for me. Honestly, this is the wallet I grab when I go anywhere! Inside there are slots for cards and a couple of pockets. I can store my keys (with a Koosh keychain), my iPhone X (with a pop socket on it), Mentos gum, my vape mod, lip balm and I still have room for extra items if I want them. So the perfect size for me!
