The description says that they do not affect the parquet. I tried them on diagonal corners first as I saw that they have a very strong adhesive that sticks straight to the floor. They were only there a few days and the carpet was peeling off the corner piece. The piece was lying on the floor and when I tried to remove it it was stuck and ripped off the trim and a piece of wood. Now I have a crack in the floor that I need to fix. I threw them away and ordered others with a rubber backing that will hold the rug but does not use strong adhesive that will stick to smooth surfaces but not the underside of the rug. Garbage.
