Review on Liquid Nails LN903 Heavy Duty Construction by Vincent Poolaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent traction at a reasonable price

Overall I was very happy with this product. I used liquid nails to glue the molding to the corkboard I was working on in my home office. What was great about this product was that it didn't have a toxic smell, it was lightweight, easy to use and most importantly it had a secure grip on my groin. He advertises that it is a construction adhesive that adheres to all common building materials and is weatherproof. I've personally used this product for an internal project so I can't confirm how it held up to the atmospheric test, but I will say that as a sticky product it's dead effective. For best results I would recommend using a caulking gun for a more even distribution. You can use it without, but it can be a bit difficult to spread an even amount when squeezing it with your hand. Friendly advice for new users like me, a small amount goes a long way so don't overfill as the excess will seep down the sides. The good news is that excess material can be easily wiped away and won't leave any unwanted marks if you clean it up quickly. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating is because this product takes longer to dry than I would like. Well, depending on what you're working on, it may well not be an immediate delay as there is time to make adjustments before it makes contact. In my case, I had to hold the molding for a while to keep it from slipping off as it dried.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
