Best glue in the market!

This glue is like a plastic weld. Works great on just about anything, but a must have for adhering to plastic. That's my review.

Pros
  • It goes above and beyond its purpose. Superior adhesive.
Cons
  • The bottle may be difficult to control, leading to messy application

Great product, incredible strength No BS

The hold of this glue surpasses all the other ones I’ve used. Had a 2 inch gap between my front door where the rubber seal sits an it was loose. I went to Home Depot got a new seal applied Gorilla Glue to the bottom of the seal, let it cure an it’s going nowhere, no more heat escaping the house.Just FYI: a little of the Gorilla Glue goes a long way, too much an you’ll see a strip of puffed up glue on the sides of your project.

Pros
  • Used for several small jobs which were all quite satisfactory!!
Cons
  • The glue may dry out and become unusable if not stored properly

Excellent product - my new review

Excellent product once we were able to open it. We ended up stabbing a whole in the top of it with a knife. That's my review!

Pros
  • Holds up great, never fails, its the best glue ever! Great value too!
Cons
  • After I opened and use it there is no way to close your bottle. So the rest I had just dried up

Insanely Strong for over a decade

If you're here you probably already know this stuff will dry like a rock. Be careful when using, make sure to maintain pressure constantly through the drying process to prevent the glue from pushing your pieces apart.Top Recommendation

Pros
  • INCREDIBLY STRONG: Expands 3 times into the materials to form an incredibly strong bond
Cons
  • The glue may be too expensive for some users

Most versatile glue I’ve found

Can fix almost everything. Use only a little. This glue expands to fill all the cracks/pores, but will expand out of the desired space if you use too much. I often do, so use a razor to trim off the extra after it’s dry.I repaired some furniture, a plastic toy, running sunglasses, and a frame with this most recent purchase. One thing it didn’t fix was the sole on my hiking boots. held up for about 20 miles with gorilla glue, but once fully dry not flexible enough to keep going there. Will have to

Pros
  • Gorilla brand is always reliable.
Cons
  • The adhesive may not hold up well under stress or pressure

A mans best friend in my review

You may know that duct tape is a mans best friend but what happens if duct tape doesn’t work. Here comes gorilla glue a mans second best friend. My closet door divider on the bottom go knock off and it wasn’t sticking with regular glue so I bought gorilla glue put some on the small piece that fell off and hold it for 30 sec. it stay in place best great product.Other things it is good is on wood but worst thing that can happen if getting on your hands.Worst feeling and hard to get off like any…

Pros
  • easy to use bottle easy to cap the keeps the glue good. Un test water resistance.
Cons
  • It may take a long time for the glue to dry completely

As always great stuff

I have use this product for years it’s great weather you working on furniture are you working on sawhorses or something for the outdoors like benches tables whatever one thing to be aware of when you use this product when it’s exposed to moisture it swells sort of like the foam in a can that she used to fill cracks there may be some dripping so just be prepared if you put too much on you might have something that drips out or a little bit of puffy foam around the point Of application but it…

Pros
  • I have used this product since it came on the market, haven’t found anything better for all around use.
Cons
  • The adhesive may not be suitable for food contact

Perfect If You Clamp Items and Allow 24hrs to Bond

You can use this glue for virtually anything, and will even form a bond between unlike materials (a shortcoming of many adhesives). But there are two things to be considered to determine if this is the right glue for you:1. The glue has almost zero viscosity fresh out of the bottle - so items MUST be braced / pressed together (even to simply glue two popsicle sticks together)2. The glue requires anywhere from 10-24 hours to cure and bond - regardless of quantity used or materials being glued…

Pros
  • The gorilla glue is very good when you use it as directed
Cons
  • The glue may be difficult to remove from skin if it gets on accidentally

Gorilla glue in any form is great

Bought this to use on some repair projects at the house. Most impressed with how it fixed a kitchen cabinet door. The top hinge had pulled out and even with using a larger screw, it would not hold. I used some gorilla glue, a brace to keep the door in place, and a large binder clip to keep the hinge tight to the frame … and a couple of hours later, it was dry. Worked liked a dream.

Pros
  • Great Product for a Great Price! Always a use for this stuff
Cons
  • The glue may have a strong odor that can be overwhelming

Nice strong glue but does not look so great.

This probably is one of the strongest glues on the market but it foams up when it dries. I was using it on the bottom of some tennis shoe sole so it really did not matter how it looked. The shoes where some walking the dogs shoes. If used this glue on an expensive pair of shoe I would not be happy.Just consider what you are gluing before you buy this glue. Gorilla Glue make a clear version but it no where as strong as the original but it looks much better when it dries.Try to reduce the amount…

Pros
  • TEMPERATURE RESISTANT: Bond holds through hot and cold temperatures
Cons
  • The glue may not work well on uneven or curved surfaces

Storing Upside-Down After Use Seems to extend Shelf Life

I discovered, almost by accident, that storing the opened bottle upside-down seems to prevent the glue from hardening prematurely. Just wanted to pass this on.

Pros
  • Had heard it was good, and it is. Did the job well.
Cons
  • The brown color may not match well with all materials

Does not work unless you wait more than 30 minutes

The glue is very "watery" and it does not stick right away. The label on the bottle says open work time is "10 - 15 minutes", which is not true. You would have to hold two pieces together and wait at least 30 minutes before the glue takes effect. This is particularly bad for me because I was trying to glue a wind-shield strip to my patio door: the strip keeps falling off because the glue is so slippery! Eventually I had to stand there and press the strip for more than 10 minutes, then I thought

Pros
  • I works on broken bricks
Cons
  • The bottle may be too heavy or awkward to use comfortably

Powerful glue! - my new review

This is a very effective and powerful glue when used carefully and properly. It expands (foams) when it cures -- great at filling gaps. It is flexible after curing. It doesn't smell. It can be trimmed with a sharp knife after curing. It really sticks well to just about everything (except polyethylene). It cures enough to stop clamping in 2 hours, completely in 24. It is very good for making or repairing a paperback book binding if you are careful. Using masking tape (the sticky side) or wax…

Pros
  • Works
Cons
  • The bottle may be difficult to hold steady when squeezing the glue out

Great solid glue good for me

I used this on wood to metal, rubber to rubber, rubber to metal, etc and it works great in all situations. It turns very solid after a while and grips tightly. Fixed my shoe, fixed my cellphone case, etc. The container is great too because the nozzle allows you to apply it easily, whether if you need a small dab or a lot of it. I rarely right reviews but I'm bored at work so this is from the heart.

Pros
  • Unbelievable strength. Wish I had tried this adhesive years ago.
Cons
  • The adhesive may be difficult to clean up after use

Dependable & controllable

I like the Gorilla line of products. I always like having them on hand for projects I work on. My utility shelf always has Gorilla Glue, PB Blaster & JB Weld. These get me through most adventures, lol

Pros
  • (+) side... cures to a strong bond(-) side... Watch for drips until it cures
Cons
  • The glue may be too thick or too thin for some uses

I am glad that I purchased this glue

I am glad that I bought this, it is very good to have this large sized bottle around for whenever it is needed. So far I have used it to glue foot pads and rubber bumper guards on my lawn tractor among other things with excellent results. This outshines any type of other glue that I have ever tried.

Pros
  • I used this glue on school projects to laundry baskets. Works great.
Cons
  • The bottle may not have a long shelf life

sticky stuff. good for me

I've been using this for years when I think I'll have a project that will be subjected to humidity and or wet conditions. It is easy to use except it might be worth mentioning that latex gloves be used as this stuff is hard to get off from your skin. Also, wear older clothes that you don't mind being messed up for a while.Overall, a very good glue.

Pros
  • Easy to use.
Cons
  • The adhesive may not bond well to certain types of rubber

Hard to work with and expands/bubbles up

I purchased this to fix a black book shelf and while this so far has good adhesive it takes a very long time to dry (I would say cure time is 24 hours) so you’ll need clamps to Secure what you are gluing. This also expands and bubbles up so I had to sand spots down and then paint it black as it drys white (This is listed as brown/black). I’m pretty handy so I was able to make this work but won’t purchase this again.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • The bottle may be difficult to store properly without spilling

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Takes a while to cure but it works.

I used this to make a stretcher for canvas. It actually worked better than the wood glue I usually use. The only down side is that when the process of drying is complete, there is a lump of hardened glue squeezed out. So you must wait to cover glued area and remove this excess. I tested the glued parts! This stuff is amazing. There is no smell that I can detect either.

Pros
  • It actually works
Cons
  • When it dry it had different color. And it’s look like brown form

Great strength with metal on metal

I have tangled with the Gorilla many times before. More often than not I would get frustrated by the incredible mount of expansion. I understand the application error resides with me but no matter what I did it would consume my entire project as it dried. This time out I was desperate since everything else I tried had failed miserably. I was trying to attach a steel plate to some kind of processed metal in order to create a speaker stand. I had tried Loctite, J-B Weld and two different epoxies…

Pros
  • This glue held when others didn't.
Cons
  • The adhesive may not work well on oily or greasy surfaces
