My wife thinks there is never too much storage space. She likes it when everything is in its place and neatly hidden in our house. She is always looking for new plastic baskets or containers to store all our stuff. We actually had a low tray like this one that she bought from Big Lots a few months ago to store our cleaning chemicals under the sink. She also used this smaller but taller basket in the kitchen. That's less than we expected. However, she has found that her loose herb and gluten-free flour packets work great. Thanks to the handles on both sides, it is easy to reach the cabinet and pull out the basket. It is wide enough to hold music CDs, small books, cosmetics, toiletries and the like. If something spills, she can simply hand wash the basket and air dry. Or it would probably be safe to wash in the top rack of the dishwasher. The design is attractive and the color is neutral and understated, making this basket look great in almost any room, including the kitchen, office, bathroom or bedroom. We only received one basket for review, so I can't comment on the stackability of this basket. I see small cutouts inside where I can put another basket, but I don't know how well it works. I think the price is quite high for this size. At the time of writing this review, a set of eight of these 7" x 9" containers cost about $30. That's almost $3.75 each. I could pay $3 each as they are good quality but I would probably choose something cheaper - if my wife gave me the vote!
