I bought this switch to connect a PC, Switch, PS4 Pro and Apple TV 4k to an "HDMI In" input on my Samsung Q70R Soundbar; This allowed me to stream uncompressed PCM 5.1 audio into my soundbar and stream the video to my TV. Although the switch will automatically switch to the last device turned on, the picture is NOT displayed and the TV displays the message "Waiting for signal". I found that if I rotated both the soundbar and the HDMI, I could get it to work. Turn the HDMI switch off and on again and immediately turn on the soundbar. But I have to do this EVERY time I switch from one device to another: 1. Turn on the device I want to use. 2. Wait for the HDMI switch to switch to the device's HDMI input. 3. Turn off the HDMI switch. 4 , Turn off the soundbar. 5. Turn on the HDMI switch and immediately after that the soundbar. 6. I hope I get a signal (because sometimes it doesn't work). For example, if I'm using an Apple TV and I decide to play a PS4 game, I have to go through the whole process as I'm just flipping the PS4. and waiting for the signal will never occur (even if the HDMI switch is set to the PS4's HDMI input). I know it's not just a Switch bug; I know it's more of an incompatibility with the soundbar but that was the ONLY reason I bought the switch so at least for me and my purpose it's a 1 star product.
