Make your keychain look like new

I was a little nervous opening up my old keychains but I think this is the way to go. I wanted to replace the keyfob housings because the red cap came off the panic button on both of my original keyfobs. There is a guide on YouTube on how to disassemble the original - basically you stick a knife in the seam between the two halves and cut along the blue line. I think I should glue the new one back in place, but for now the snapping of the two halves seems tight (probably until I drop it). I noticed an o-ring under the battery door on my old key fob that wasn't there. is included in the new case so I moved it but I also noticed that the new case has a hole for the LED to shine through which the original keychain case doesn't have so it may be pointless trying to fix the make new case more waterproof. Don't forget that next to the circuit board for the buttons, there is a small RFID module on one end of the fob. You have to move it as well as the board. I decided to reuse the old Toyota logo on the back as I think it looks a bit better than the regular rear.
