Good for household items
I like not having to bend down to pick up trash and it works very well for that purpose. The bottom edge is close enough to the ground that you won't lose much dust when you sweep it in the bin. I think it would be better if the product was hinged at the point where the spoon meets the boom. It can be a bit inconvenient to throw the dustpan in the trash without removing the pole from the dustpan. Also, it would take up less closet space if closed with hinges. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it.
