Review on FINDKING'S Dynasty Kiritsuke Knife - The Perfect Multi-Purpose Gyuto Chef Knife For Cutting Meat, Fruits And Vegetables by John Hickey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exceptional all around

these are the first kitchen knives ive purchased in a decade. they arrived two days prior to this review, i typically wait a while to review the things i purchase, but these knives deserved an immediate review:first, the knives arrived packaged tightly within a sturdy box and the blades and handles were each separately wrapped in plastic, as well as the tips and rear edges covered with a small protective plastic to prevent damage to the box or knifesecond, they are very sturdy with a slight amount of flex in the blade, also the handles are well made and fit comfortably in hand. the hexagonal design of the handle left me worried that it wouldnt be as comforatable as my 10 year old french chef knife with ergonomically designed grip, but it may actually be more comfortable time will tell.third, they are sharp as a razor, during unboxing i grazed the edge of my thumb and made a shallow cut, then the next night while cleaning up after prepping dinner the nariki nearly removed the end of my right index finger. 4 stitches to close the cut. should also note that i didnt even feel the cut happen. i just looked down and blood was all over the knife and cutting board.

Pros
  • The FINDKING'S Dynasty Kiritsuke Knife delivers exceptional value for its price, making it an affordable addition to any home or professional chef's collection
Cons
  • The knife may not come with a protective sheath for safe storage

This knife is not great. It looks nice, but it isn''t very sharp and doesn''t hold a new edge long. The blade is too thick for thin slicing foods. I would not buy it again.
