If you expect this to give you lab grade vacuum, get realistic and buy an electric pump. this is for low pressure vacuum. ideal for testing small engines and sealed manifolds and bleeding brakes. While rubber brake bleeder parts do not fit exactly (there are so many different sizes from manufacturers and different tolerances for each manufacturer), they still do the job for most bleeder valves. This is by far the best vacuum cleaner I've ever bought. For the same price there are cheap plastic bottles that break after a few uses. This one is all metal and will serve you for a long, long time. If it does fail, simply replace the seals and it's like new again. This tool is so easy to use that even a caveman can figure it out. 5 stars from me. Makes pumping the brakes much easier and cuts the time by more than half. Update July 2020: Lately I've been using it to check for cylinder leaks. Works well on motorcycles and garden tools. Still holds up well and runs much faster than with my bulky electric pump and setup. The only thing I use at the moment is an electric pump for air conditioning.
