I love this mug. I received a gray color and the color is actually part of the metal, not the plating or paint. This means it is not dishwasher safe. It keeps my coffee very hot, but it doesn't feel hot on the outside. The lid screws on easily and has a gasket to prevent leakage. The lid is well designed so the part that pops open to drink is easy to open with just a thumb. Important when using in the car. The mug itself is made entirely of steel, making it easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. I also washed the plastic lid in the dishwasher and it didn't warp. It fits in the cup holders in my car. **Update** After a few months and many rinses I realized that the color of the mug is actually a coating because it's starting to peel off. I still love the mug and the scrub just affects the aesthetics.
