This wand was originally intended to be a gift for a friend of mine but after looking at it I concluded that this a very acceptable wand! I was afraid the wand would be damaged considering the shipping box it came in was very flimsy, but it was safe. The wand box was undamaged and when I opened it the wand was in perfect condition. If you look closely at the tip of the stick, you can see a metal rod. Some might not like it, but honestly no one else is going to get close enough to inspect my wand, so I don't mind. Finally, given the price, I knew it wouldn't be perfect, but the quality is way better than I expected! It's also a good weight and feels good in my hand; I can just keep it for myself and order the same wand for her again.
