In general a good product! I have a temporary system set up, my drain pump needs to be drained into my supply pan with some not so good plumbing. The laundry tub itself also has a very slow drain. Once when the pump was draining water into the tub every 2 minutes, a few drops squirted out. The drops turned into a little puddle and this little alarm started going off! He did exactly what he had to do. Then I took it out of the water, dried the bottom, swapped it for another in the place where I had folded it in half in case the battery got weak, cleaned up a small puddle and went about my business. This little device worked great. Reason for 4 stars is because it was too quiet. I don't really understand how loud something has to be to hear it throughout the house, but I don't think anyone would hear it from the basement in a two story house. I wake up EASILY and I don't think I would have heard it on the second floor. I have a more serious alarm for my drain pump, but these little guys work and work great for small areas.
